What is the Community Fellowship Program?

The Community Fellowship program is a group that meets with each other 10 hours a week for 10 weeks to promote leadership in the community for survivors of interpersonal violence such as domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, and human trafficking. The Family Justice Center facilitates cohorts for both adults and children.

Why Become A Community Fellow?

This program is a great way for you to develop your leadership potential by identifying skills in advocacy, training & events, project coordination, or technology. It can also help you jumpstart community project that you’ve been wanting to start! Our coaching and mentoring will help support your personal and skill development while providing meaningful networking opportunities!

What We Are Looking For:
  • Someone interested in growing their confidence as a leader
  • Someone interested in learning how to collaborate with other leaders.
  • Someone interested in co-developing a community project
  • Either age 18 and up for our adult cohort; in high school for the youth cohort.
  • Have reliable transportation.
