Mind Power in Action (Black MPA) is designed to support the mental well-being of African American/Black residents in East Contra Costa. This program equips participants with tools to manage anxiety, depression, and stress, helping them build psychological resilience to overcome societal and life challenges. Facilitated by certified Community Health Workers, the program offers culturally relevant support.
Are you a community member or organization interested in learning more about MIND POWER in ACTION? We are happy to take time to have an in-depth conversation with you or your team to determine if becoming a Community Health Worker (CHW) or joining an upcoming 8-week program as a participant is right for you.
To enroll, participants must identify as part of the African American/Black community and attend classes within East Contra Costa County.
